The 30th anniversary is coming up soon for this well-known athletic event that draws competitors from across the state: the Gloucester Mountain Man Tri Challenge!
Held on the second Sunday of September each year, the challenge consists of a 20.4 km mountain bike ride around the Bucketts Mountains; 10.7 km kayak paddle down the crystal clear waters of the Barrington River; and 8.8 km run along the scenic Thunderbolts Way and back into the Gloucester District Park.
