Situated 8kms from Gloucester along the picturesque Thunderbolts Way, Poley’s Place comprises over 500 acres of rich grazing land including 5 acres of rainforest only a 5 minute walk from the camping ground.
Open all year round, Poley’s Place is pet friendly and hosts regular Country Music Hoedowns.
You can enjoy camping, fishing, swimming in the river, canoeing, nature walks, bird watching, barbecues, tube riding over the rapids. We have hot showers, flushing toilets, an animal farm for children plus we’re pet friendly!
For the fisherman the Barrington River is a great spot for fishing where there are perch, mullet, catfish and herring. Trout can be caught further up the river towards the beautiful Barrington Tops.
