The perfect place to cool off is right in town, at the Olympic swimming pool complex in Gloucester District Park with lap pool, wading pool with water feature & picnic area. Season reopens Saturday 29 Sep 2018!

WHEN: The swimming season in Gloucester is Spring-Summer-Autumn, from the October long weekend to the following April.

  • Monday-Friday (29 Sep 2020 – 28 Apr 2021): 6am-6pm
  • Weekends & public holidays: peak season (10 Nov to 8 Mar): 11am-6pm
  • Weekends & public holidays: shoulder season (29 Sep to 9 Nov; 9 Mar to 28 Apr): 11am-3pm

You’ll love the 50m lap pool, 15m wading pool with water feature & shade cover, toilets, change rooms, kiosk, first aid room, shady areas, picnic facilities & a fenced children’s play area.

The many benefits of swimming include health, enjoyment and lots of fun for the kids! The grassy area features 2 free electric barbecues and a gazebo that’s perfect for parties, work functions or even the extended family. Plus there’s free wi-fi available for those who can’t live without their technology close by.

The outdoor Olympic Pool is heated to 26°C and the Hydrotherapy Pool is heated to 34°C.
