Join us for a fun, family friendly celebration of the platypus which is found around these upper parts of the Manning River catchment that surrounds Gloucester…The Gloucester Platypus Festival offers a market with plenty of fun, great music and much more. And the platypus is also the logo for Gloucester Tourism and this iconic Australian animal represents clean and healthy river systems.

This year’s Festival theme is ‘Rivercare’ to pay tribute to all the members of our community chipping in to protect and restore the platypus’ home. Chip in yourself by taking part in hands-on activities, local produce, artisan stalls, information stands about living sustainably plus inspirational speakers and performers.
